A lot has happened in such a short time. I did not get that job with the local magazine. I was part of the shortlist of choices that was interviewed, but it was not to be. Ah well.

In other news, I do have a few things to add to the site, including some new logo work, some layout and some new photos I took during my trip down to Florida last month. It was a whirlwind trip, but I did manage to get some nice photos that I am very happy about.

Lastly, I know that there is an alignment problem with my website. I'm not sure where the problem is in the code, but it only happens when the site is viewed with Internet Explorer. All other browsers do not see the alignment error, but I'm continuing on looking for the solution so it vanishes from existence.

It's been a while since I had anything worth while to report in regards to graphic design.

The website for the novel trilogy is now up and functional. It took a while to get the image files as well as all the content, but it's finally up. The final version of the site will be going up any day now as well as the final book will be available for purchase.

I'm also waiting on a local magazine to let me know what they thought of my design ideas. It's a week ago today since I sent them my comps and rationales.

Waiting is always the worst part.

Met up with an author, Marie Bilodeau. Introduced though a mutual friend. When we met up, we immediately found out we had plenty in common and lots to talk about. Turned out we even lived a few minute drive away from each other.

I'm currently reading her books and liking them so far. Maybe I'll do some illustrations for her later. :)

Same colour scheme, different format. I'll probably be changing this again soon. Seems like I'm never happy with my personal webpage design.

More categories, more content, more to look at, less fuss. Flash is great, but I need time to learn Action Script v3.0 and I can't do that if I need to continually update my flash website. Not happening.

I just got an iMac. It's not new, but definately new to me: 24" screen. I think it's bigger than the tv I watch regularly in the basement. It's definately bigger than any monitor in the house.

I can't believe how big it looks!

And the offer just came out of nowhere too. I wasn't looking for a new computer; just to upgrade my PC with some new RAM and new harddrive, but turns out I need a new motherboard before I can do that.

Just great. Another thing to purchase. Not what I wanted to hear. That and regular DDR RAM is pricey! Yikes. Makes me think I should just start over for the most part. At least new core peices; motherboard, RAM, new HD, and maybe a new graphics card. So much more than what I wanted at this time. Bah.

It's been a long time coming, but graduation has happened and I have my diploma. Three years done and I'm free!

Ceremony was long and the announcer mispronouced my middle name. I guess that now is a graduating tradition; calling me names that are not my names. Happened back in High School grad dinner as well. Didn't think that both my names were that complicated. Apparently they are. Who knew?
